Barbara Pierce was born and raised in New Jersey. After fifteen years of traveling between
their homes in Montana and New Jersey, Barbara and her husband became year round
Montana residents in 2004.
Barbara designs a variety of jewelry styles from a variety of beads and natural materials.
Always admiring American Indian jewelry and bead work, Barbara began designing hand
beaded chokers and necklaces reflecting these themes. In addition to her completed works,
Barbara accepts special orders to create one of a kind necklaces.
Barbara is an active member of the Ennis Arts Association - a non-profit organization whose
main goal is to promote the Arts in the Madison Valley, Montana. She is the treasurer of the
organization and helps to organize the Madison Valley Arts Festival sponsored by the Ennis
Arts Association.
